Facebook Lite - Direct shot at twitter?
Looks like it’s a direct shot at twitter considering the name. It doesn’t work yet, but will be located at lite.facebook.com. Update: It’s gone already. Update 2: Added full screenshot Ideas on what this could mean:
- This is what Facebook and Friendfeed have been casually talking about with acquisition talks accelerating things
- Facebook is planning on this being the twitter client / penguin FB. Moreso, Facebook may be making a Friendfeed of sorts of its own and twitter is one of many places it could post to.
Either way a friendfeed acquisition, basic search integration, and now this makes their intentions of going after Twitter clear. The war is on…
